Edit Metadata:

Login to the Admin interface for the following steps.

(Note: Only Administrators with Superuser permissions can access Metadata)


1. Go to Administration > Utilities > Metadata > Manage Metadata.

It will list out the existing metadata fields. 

2. Select the Edit link for the required field.


3. You can edit the properties available in the 4 tabs - Details, External Source, Validation and Content

    In the Details tab, the Field Type of the metadata is locked and cannot be edited.

4. Click Apply or OK to save your changes. OK will save the change and return to the list of Metadata fields. 

    Apply will save the changes and retain you on the current screen.



Deleting a Metadata:

1. Go to Administration > Utilities > Metadata > Manage Metadata.

It will list out the existing metadata fields. 

2. The System Metadata fields are Undeletable.

3. Manually created Metadata fields can be deleted by clicking on the Delete button.


4. The pop-up box appears asking the confirmation of the user to delete the Metadata field. 

    Click OK to confirm deletion. Otherwise click Cancel to exit.
