Due to the legacy functionality, the following applications have not been re-created in GreenOrbit.  Please see the descriptions below that explain how to migrate or remove your content before the upgrade takes place. 


Please note: There is no automated migration process to move all application content into GreenOrbit as part of the upgrade. Content can be extracted/migrated on an application-by-application basis as described below.


Acronym Manager

  • Acronym Manager is no longer available. Once the upgrade is completed the content within this application will not be available.  In order keep these items our team can extract this content and provide it to you. You can then add this content to a Formatted Text component on a CMS page.


Brand Manager

  • Brand Manager is no longer available. Once the upgrade is completed the content within this application will not be be available. In order to keep these items you must download these items and upload them into CMS Folders prior to upgrade. 


Clever Tools

  • Clever Tools is no longer available. Once the upgrade is completed the content within this application will not be available. In order to keep these items you will need to create an equivalent list of Quicklinks prior to upgrade.


Contact Manager

  • Contact Manager is no longer available. Once the upgrade is completed all contacts will not be be available. All Internal Contacts will appear in the Profile Directory application.  Any external contacts that are currently being managed by the Contact Manager application will need to be added to a CMS page.

Content Publisher

  • The Content Publisher application is no longer available therefore once the upgrade is completed items within this application will be deleted.  Pages will need to be manually rebuilt in CMS.  Uploaded Files within Content Publisher can be extracted with a script and provided to you. If you are using Content Publisher this script will be offered to you.


Digital Assets Library

  • The Digital Assets Library is no longer available therefore once the upgrade is completed these items will be deleted.  Before the upgrade takes place you will need to manually move files into CMS.


Document Manager

  • The Document Manager application is no longer available. As part of the upgrade the GreenOrbit Support team can run a script to migrate Document Management files to CMS. It is strongly advised however that customers save all documents before the migration to ensure that the migration has transitioned over all of the files during the upgrade.


Employee Training

  • Employee Training is no longer available therefore once the upgrade is completed these items will be deleted. It is suggested that as a replacement for existing Employee Training Courses,  "Online Forms" be created including a workflow that gives the user the ability to to sign up for training courses.


FAQ

  • The FAQ application is no longer available therefore once the upgrade is completed the items contained within the application will be deleted.  In order keep these items our team can extract this content and provide it to you. You can then add this content to a Formatted Text component on an CMS Page.


Forms Manager

  • The Forms Manager is no longer available therefore once the upgrade is completed these items will be deleted. You will need to extract Forms from the Forms Manager and upload them into CMS.


Forum

  • The Forum application is no longer available therefore once the upgrade is completed these items will be deleted.  In order keep these items our team can extract this content and provide it to you. The suggested replacement is to create a Channel or Private Group per topic.


Generic Components

  • Generic Components is no longer available therefore once the upgrade is completed these items will be deleted. If comments and ratings are required then you will need to perform a manual export of comments and ratings to retain this content.  


Image Library

  • Image Library application is no longer available therefore once the upgrade is completed these items will be deleted.  In order keep these items our team can extract this content and provide it to you. You can then re-upload them to a CMS Folder.


Process Tools

  • Process Tools is no longer available therefore once the upgrade is completed these items will be deleted. Content used with the Process tool including CMS pages and Online Forms will be retained. It is suggested that post-upgrade a Required Read/View be set on these items for tracking progress.


Sports Tipping

  • Sport Tipping is no longer available therefore once the upgrade is completed these items will be deleted.  All information from this application would need to be manually extracted.


Staff Offers

  • Staff Offers is no longer available therefore once the upgrade is completed these items will be deleted. If there is data in this application, it would need to be manually migrated. It is suggested that a Channel, such as #StaffOffers be used in place of this application.


World Time

  • World Time is no longer available.  All data within this application will be deleted. It is suggested that existing instances of World Time be manually replaced with a HTML component featuring and embedded third-party world time widget.  


Travel Agent

  • Travel Agent is no longer available therefore once the upgrade is completed these items will be deleted.  All information within this application will need to be manually extracted prior to upgrade.
